California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Disclosure

Rights for California residents
This notice explains how TruHome Solutions, LLC collects, uses, and discloses personal information relating to California residents covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”). This notice is provided pursuant to the CCPA.
Purpose
The CCPA establishes certain definitions and requirements related to the collection, use, and disclosure of information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked directly or indirectly with a particular California resident. Importantly, the CCPA does not apply to all information, including information subject to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (“GLBA”).
Classification of Information Collected and Disclosed
We collect and disclose, for our business purposes, the following categories of personal information:
- Personal identifiers, including names and government-issued identification numbers;
- Protected classifications, including age, date of birth, marital status, and military status;
- Personal contact information and financial information;
- Employment information and work history detail;
- Education information and educational background;
- Electronic and audio information, including recorded telephone conversations.
The categories of sources where we collect and disclose this information include:
- TruHome’s Credit Union clients, subject to mutually executed service agreements, for services provided by TruHome on behalf of our clients;
- Our affiliate institutions;
- Individual consumers (directly);
- Service providers, including data resellers and credit reporting agencies;
- Publicly available information.Your Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights under the CCPA, including:
- The right to request details concerning information related to the 12 months immediately preceding your request:
- The categories of personal information we collected about you;
- The categories of sources used to collect the personal information about you;
- The reason for collecting your personal information; and
- The categories of third parties with whom we share your personal information;
- The right to request deletion of your personal information that we collected; and
- The right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
If you submit a request on another person’s behalf, we may require proof of authorization to submit such request and may request information to verify the identities of the parties involved in the request.
When you submit a request, we will acknowledge receipt of your request and will provide a timeline for our formal response if one cannot be provided immediately.
If an exception applies, such as one related to GLBA, your request will be denied.
Use of Personal Information
TruHome utilizes the information outlined in this disclosure for the following purposes:
- To provide account management and origination services to you;
- To sell and/or communicate services with you;
- To secure and ensure the security of our property and infrastructure;
- For audit and review purposes;
- For compliance purposes; to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Sale of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information as contemplated by the CCPA.
Collection of Information Relating to Minors
We do not collect information relating to minor individuals (those under the age of 18).
