I was an elementary and middle school teacher in a former life. I made a career change from education to a loan officer in sales, and then six months later was promoted to management. Years later, I was contacted by a former coworker who told me about TruHome Solutions. She explained that they were experiencing amazing growth, and as I learned more about their training program I knew I wanted to be a full-time mortgage trainer. I said goodbye to my old company of almost ten years and joined TruHome! I am so glad that my former coworker thought of me, and grateful I was able to pursue my passion in training and serving others. Now, I have been given the opportunity to lead a team of brand new loan advisers who recently graduated our rigorous Boot Camp class! I am very excited and ready to coach my new team to the top of their game.
What do you enjoy most about working for TruHome?
My favorite part of TruHome is that we take pride in helping our employees find their fullest potential through training! I love that the company is committed to training brand new loan officers, from passing the SAFE Test to helping them be successful on the phone their first day. Although some companies take 90 days for their loan officers to close their first loan, our BootCampers close them in their first 30-45 days! As a sales manager, I am excited to continue their progression.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
I knew I would be a teacher when I was in 5th grade! I have taught 5th, 6th, 7th and 9th grade, but my favorite is teaching adults to reach their fullest potential in a new endeavor.
